Our Approach

How Survey Partners Operates

Survey Partners applies a consistent, five-stage approach to every property and commercial opportunity it considers. The same process is followed regardless of the opportunity type, capital quantum or counterparty — without exception.

A Consistent Process

Disciplined at Every Stage

The Survey Partners approach is built on the principle that disciplined process produces better commercial outcomes than opportunistic or reactive decision-making. Every opportunity the company considers passes through the same five stages before any capital is deployed.

This consistency is not bureaucratic formality — it is the foundation of the company's commercial credibility. Counterparties, professional advisers and investors can rely on Survey Partners to follow the same rigorous process every time, regardless of the size or nature of the opportunity.

The five stages are sequential. No stage is skipped or abbreviated. Capital is not deployed until all five stages have been completed to the satisfaction of the company and its advisers.

01

Identify

Opportunity Identification

Survey Partners identifies opportunities through its established network of property professionals, commercial advisers, developers, landowners and business owners. Opportunities may also be brought to the company directly by professional advisers acting on behalf of clients.

Not every opportunity that is identified will proceed to assessment. Survey Partners applies an initial filter at the identification stage, considering whether the opportunity is consistent with the company's current focus, whether the counterparty appears credible and whether the capital requirement is within the company's current capacity.

02

Assess

Rigorous Assessment

All opportunities that pass the initial identification filter are subject to a thorough assessment. This covers the commercial rationale, the legal and title position, the counterparty background, the capital requirement and the proposed exit or realisation strategy.

Assessment is conducted by Survey Partners with the assistance of relevant professional advisers where required. The company does not rely solely on information provided by the counterparty — independent verification is sought where appropriate. Assessment findings are documented in writing before any deployment decision is made.

03

Structure

Structural Design

Where an opportunity passes assessment, Survey Partners designs the appropriate commercial structure for the arrangement. This may involve direct corporate deployment, a project-specific special purpose vehicle, a joint venture arrangement or another structure appropriate to the nature of the opportunity.

The structural design stage involves the engagement of solicitors and, where relevant, accountants and other professional advisers. The proposed structure is documented in heads of terms or a term sheet before full legal documentation is prepared. No capital is committed at this stage — commitment follows only upon execution of full legal documentation.

04

Deploy

Capital Deployment

Capital is deployed only upon execution of full, legally binding documentation prepared by appropriate solicitors. Survey Partners does not deploy capital on the basis of verbal agreements, letters of intent or incomplete documentation.

All capital deployed by Survey Partners is subject to source of funds verification and appropriate KYC before deployment. The company maintains a complete record of all capital deployed, the documentation governing each arrangement and the counterparties involved. Deployment is made in accordance with the agreed documentation — no variation is made without written agreement.

05

Monitor

Ongoing Oversight

Survey Partners maintains active oversight of all deployed capital throughout the life of each arrangement. This includes regular review of project progress, financial performance and compliance with the agreed documentation.

Where an arrangement involves a third-party operator, developer or business, Survey Partners requires regular reporting in a form agreed at the documentation stage. The company does not take a passive approach to monitoring — it maintains active engagement with all counterparties and professional advisers throughout the life of each arrangement. Where issues arise, they are addressed promptly and in accordance with the agreed documentation.

Underpinning Principles

What Guides Every Decision

No Shortcuts

Every stage of the process is completed in full, every time. There are no abbreviated assessments, informal arrangements or undocumented commitments.

Professional Advisers

Survey Partners engages solicitors, accountants and other professional advisers as required at every stage. The company does not attempt to substitute internal judgement for professional expertise.

Written Records

All decisions, assessments and arrangements are documented in writing. The company maintains comprehensive records of all commercial activity.

Counterparty Integrity

Survey Partners will not proceed with any arrangement where it has concerns about the integrity, credibility or compliance of a counterparty, regardless of the commercial attractiveness of the opportunity.
